Donald Duck der Nazi 1943
Animation might also used as propaganda for instance the Donald Duck der Nazi was released during the second world war and the content was against the Nazi Party of Germany. The animation was exaggerated in order to get more attention from the country and try to apply the thought of against Nazi onto the citizens. In this case, Walt Disney was paid by the government to keep the company ran normally during the war therefore technically it was 'forced' to create political animation so people at that time was brainwashed by these 'funny cartoons'. I think animation is an effective and useful method to spread messages quickly. Despite the stereotype of all animation are for children, they could blend in extremely well in the daily life and pictures always stay in minds longer than words.
