I started with a little play with Charles Huettner style. His style inspires me a lot and I might consider to apply his style in my animation. Colour gradient is very fun to play with and instead of plain colour, the image becomes lively and contain texture.
After the experiment, I noticed that it is difficult to draw in the right ratio so this time I started with a grid in the background layer in order to aid the consistency of the drawing.
I also find drawing a rough plan is more effective than drawing straight onto the canvas and tracing allows work efficiency. I like this method because it enables me to have a brief overview of the animation and make instant rearrangements.
I like to make adjustment on the colour layer for instance the position and the size.
