Flip book 1868

A sequenced set of drawings or photographs in a book is called a flip book!

Due to the last module, I am quite familiar with flip book. It is a traditional way to show moving images and it requires good timing and spacing. Basically, each page inside the flip book is slightly different from each other to from a set of sequence image and it is shown by flipping the pages gradually by hand. Unlike the zoetrope, it is not easy to be preserved because of the material used, paper could be easily damaged or aged if it is not kept carefully. Nevertheless, flip book is user friendly and nearly everyone can make a flip book at home.

A flip book is not a efficient media to transmit message due to its size and capability. Companies today seldom use flip book as a media to promote because its volume of information is restricted and have no sounds which is relatively dull compare to digital animation.
