Madagascar Research

A good animation to study is Madagascar. Part of the story demonstrates perfectly how the zoo animals escape from the zoo and there are some very funny and clever methods that they use to break through the fence. We want to include some interesting scenes in our animation for example some stupid acts of the pigs when they attempt to escape; digging a tunnel to escape but ending up return to the barn etc. Joe also suggests to use the silhouette to tell the story for instance running under the moon on a field and caught by the truck. We have a lot of shattered ideas and need something to link those together.

It is interesting to see the animals acting as human and using human's logic. If some of those ideas are applied in the pigs, they might be make good use of their fat bellies; or might bounce around like a rubber ball; or even to pretend to sleep in order to avoid being caught by the farmer.(since they are quite lazy and sleep all the time)

I want to include spot lights like below when the pigs are caught!

The pigs can wear goggles to escape within the barn and this might be entertaining to see them acting stupidly.
